I had a privilege to briefly visit Lexington and Asbury on Jan 12-17. I have so many great memories from my student time. I was able to recall some of them and walk around the buildings where I used to study hard (not really J) and lived. I remember great people – fellow students and our professors. I spent some time with
a dear friend of mine Dr. Mulholland and his wife Lynn and also had a good talk with a present IBP dean Dr. Tom Tumblin. It was very encouraging to find out that the program is not only surviving in the times of crisis but actually getting even better. For example, the current IBP students will take two oversees trips, as we had only one to Korea.
Weather wise I was amazed that when I arrived, everything was really covered by snow. Just like back in Russia J. But this lasted not more than couple days. By the end of the week there was no sign of it left.
I also was blessed by meeting in Asbury Mark Elliott whom I knew only through emailing. Mark has a heart for Russian ministry and it was a pleasure to meet him in person.
Finally I received a lot of edification and exhortation from two great pastors – Earny Sacra and Billy Henderson. I am blessed to have such a great number of godly people around me!
With this I want to extend my warm greetings to all my friends whom I met while in Asbury.
Many, many blessings!
