Yesterday we celebrated Yura and Yana’s wedding. Yura was in our Rehab program around four years ago. He didn’t finish our program and left with great problems. We all were concerned about his very life back then. Next time I met Yura where I would never expect him to be… He was a new student in the Moscow Seminary where I teach! We gave him a chance and Yura used it! He became an active student and church minister. Now he is leading the praise and worship part of our services and also is active in evangelism.
On one of the prayer meetings about a year ago while we were praying for families, I had a vision of a hook. I also had interpretation for the vision – the Lord wanted to bring a wife to one of our guys. Now we know that this guy was Yura.
Internet has also played a part in this story, because on one of Christian Sites Yura met Yana who lived in New York. Yana immigrated to the States from Russia several years ago. Yura invited Yana to … enroll to the correspondence course of our Moscow Seminary which require her to come to Moscow twice a year. The miracle was – she agreed and came this winter. Then was love, engagement and finally – marriage! May the Lord bless them richly!
It looks like the Lord threw the hook for around 8000 km (distance between Moscow and New York). What a spinning! 🙂
We also are enjoying the anointing and wine of the Holy Spirit during the last couple weeks. Praise the Lord, Who lives in us!
The fact is – it’s wise and good to participate on prayer meetings!
